"I think you would enjoy the Olivia G Camroon Robusto. It is a short cigar with a healthy ring gauge. Quite tasty for a shorty. I personally also enjoy the VSG Mystic by A. Fuente. Smoking one now. It's a little chocolate bar with a big ass…"

"And there is plenty to learn. I'm always learning something new. I wish I had more time to spend with the great people on here. The Blood Red Moon is a fairly new cigar that I haven't seen very often as of yet. I'd expect them to gain…"

"OF all the ones you mentioned I haven't tried the Oliveros nor the Blood Red Moon. Guess it's something else to try.  That's why I keep coming back to this site...I learn more each time about new cigars to try.  :-)"

"The Short Story is a damn good smoke and one I keep an eye out for. Over the weekend I tried a few new ones and I'm pretty damn happy with the purchases. For a cheap puff and toss stick I've been pretty happy with the Oliveros corona.…"

"I enjoy the Arturo Fuente Short Story for a 25-35 minute smoke but when I'm really pressed for time I enjoy Avo Classic Puritos Cigars."

"I wholeheartedly agree, the guys on the auction sites push them to about $8/stick and I dont see why. For the price of a tin of 4  you could score yourself two pigs."

"I also like the LFD Carajos Padron Cortica's Fuente Short Story Camacho Coylar #1 (If I don't buy them all up) Try Holts for these Camacho closeouts for $60 a box of 25."

Profile Information

Hometown:
Salem, MA
About Me:
My name is Paul. A pleasure I am sure.

I am an actor and a costume/ clothing designer, a props designer, metal worker, set designer, stage hand... Whatever else brings in money or keeps me entertained.

None of that is the point though.

I'm not all that complicated. I love to read and learn so the chances are we will have something to talk about. Got a question? Ask it. I'll answer or I'll counter with "do you really want to know that?"

Wish list:
Padilla Signature 1932, Illusione 888 Slam, Nestor Miranda Danno, Tatuaje as a whole, Viaje fifty fifty, Viaje Satori, Padron 1926 Maduro, Padron 45th, Camacho Triple Maduro (can never have too many)RP seasonals, La Flor Dominicana Oscuro, Air Bender, My Father Cremas, Illusione CG:4, Camacho 10th Anniversary, Camacho Diploma 07/05 Maduro, Rocky Patel Renaissance, Rocky Patel 15th, Drew Estate Natural Dirt, Drew Estate Natural Root, Any Liga Privada (but especially dirty rat, T52 and flying pig), Oliva serie V Maduro, Black Market, Tatuaje Verocu #5, Cromagnon, La Flor Dominicana Colorado Oscuro... Anything I haven't tried.
Website:

Favorite Cigar Brand:
Rocky Patel 1990, Rocky Patel Decade, Punch Double Maduro, RP Sungrown, IT Super Fuerte, Opus X, 5 Vegas Series A, Camacho triple maduro, Camacho Liberty 2005, Camacho Corojo, NUB Habano, Nub Maduro, Nestor Miranda special Selection, Cain F, 7-20-4, Tabac Especial, Padron 1926, The house blend at The Old Cuban Cigar Factory... Too many to remember right now.
What cigar accessories do you own?
A basic Spanish cedar 50ct humidor. Cooler-dor. A travel humidor. It's not bad for transportation but not for long term storage. The seal is too good and over humidifies the sticks after a long time. A new 2009 Cfest humidor signed by Rocky Patel. A 2010 Cfest humi signed by Pepin Garcia. My old bullet cutter decided to go on vacation without leading a forwarding address but a buddy gave me a nice xikar punch to replace it. I am mostly using the freebie firebird cutter from cfest but I have a credit card cutter in my wallet at all times. Various, cheap lighters both soft and torch.

Beyond that cigars I am a pipe smoker and also love my hookahs. I have a decent little brier churchwarden, a churchwarden gifted to me and carved by my uncle and a handful of hookahs. One stainless steel Egyptian, two khalil mamoon trimetal Egyptians, two Mya Sarays, a Magdy Zidan and a solid brass Syrian. Nothing goes through any of these beyond tobacco.
How many box purchases do you make a year?
Maybe 3
Did someone invite you to Social Cigar? And if so who?

Been busy, working most of this weekend, and finally shook a cold that benched my cigars for two weeks. Spring is on the way!
