My husband and I are spending some time at Joey D's sala de fuma cigar bar in Latrobe tonight. He is smoking a Liga Privada and I am enjoying a CAO extreme.I have never tried a CAO extreme and am pleasantly surprised. It has a rich toasty and nutty flavor without being overwhelming. Hints of cedar add an interesting taste to this overall medium bodied smoke.We love coming to Joey D's. If you are in Latrobe, check it out. They are having a cigar taster Wednesday feb 16. On Thanksgiving, I enjoyed a Perdomo ESV boxpressed. They don't make these anymore--they have since reformulated the esv. This particular smoke had been aged for 3 years in the humidor and was quite tasty. Nutty and smooth with some woody notes on the finish. At least, that is what my palate picked up on.Then the day after, to celebrate black friday, I did not go to the stores. Instead, hubby and I smoked a Montecristo superbowl edition. My husband and I are spending some time at Joey D's sala de fuma cigar bar in Latrobe tonight. He is smoking a Liga Privada and I am enjoying a CAO extreme.
I have never tried a CAO extreme and am pleasantly surprised. It has a rich toasty and nutty flavor without being overwhelming. Hints of cedar add an interesting taste to this overall medium bodied smoke.
