I just saw this video for the first time a few days ago. I love it!

...On JFK ordering Cuban-made Petit Upmann cigars for himself.

John F. Kennedy? Cuban cigars? What's not to love?

My Husband and I are planning a little summer trip to either Boston, or Chicago -- we're not sure where exactly, at this point.

If anybody can suggest cigar lounges or shops to check out, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am excited at the prospect of our mini-vacation!!

I ended up going to Thomas Hinds today and bought a punch cutter and a new cigar for my husband to try.



The cutter is a no-name one, a bullet-shaped keychain one and the nicest they had there, save for Dunhill (not going to happen, today!) We have guillotine cutters, but my husband wanted to try a punch cutter.



It has the little spring mechanism to eject the plug.

On my way downtown to see a press screening of the new Robert Pattinson movie, and to do a little shopping at Thomas Hinds Tobacconist...

It's gorgeous out! Should be a fun day!!

We have cigars that are our basic staple in our house, and the humidor is well stocked. Right now we have a lot of Ghurkas.

However, I try to get something different for my husband every month, in the $10-20 range. He likes the robusto.



He gets Cigar Afficionado but I am having a bit of a hard time finding the cigars they recommend, at my local shop.

We are in Canada, so we can get Cubans, I just need to go somewhere a little bit out of my neighbourhood...
