trip to nicaragua

Just got back from nicaragua spent 4 days at the perdomo cigar factory. Nick Perdomo was a great host. i don't think i'll ever complain about the price of a cigar again. We got to see the whole process from picking the seeds to the end product of packaging. The process of rolling a cigar and the fermentation of tobacco is just a art. I would like to  here from anyone else that has been to a factory and let me know if i'm the only one in awe See More

I would like to thank the people for welcoming me. Here's a little about me I've been a cigar  smoker for about 25 years my favorite smokes are oliva v and perdomo. Perdomo is my usual daily smoke. I usually enjoy 4 to 5 sticks a day. There are so many good sticks out there right now it really is hard to pick a real favorite. I'm a member of the CRA and also a ambassador  I got involved because as most of u know that New York is one of the highest taxed states in the country and they are trying take my right to smoke away by having a 79%tax rate also they are trying to limit where I can smoke and I just feel all this is against my rights. Sorry once I get going I can't stop again thank you for the welcome and I hope to begin talking to u soon

Ron, Welcome to Social Cigar. I hope you join in our discussions, forums, and groups. We also have a virtual herf every few weeks. It's a bit new to the site but a great place to get to know everyone. We have more people at each one. Wow 60 boxes a year, Olivia and Perdomo. What's your go to smoke and what do you save for that special occasion?
