10% off August cigar tour of Nicaragua and Honduras

Don’t know if anyone would be interested, but we’ve got a couple of spaces left for our August 25-29 Roll’n’Smoke tour. It’s not a discount code or promotion, just me letting the group know. You won't find it on our website, so send me an email or call and ask for me at the office and let me know you’re from Social Cigar. If you haven't seen our tour, it's at http://worthlivingtours.com/. When the last spaces are booked, it's booked, no rain checks, and don't ask for a discount on any of our…See More

Fun for everyone, except the Google Gestapo

If it’s not one thing with Google, it’s another. The official word from their Mumbai office is that it doesn’t matter if you’re selling tobacco or not, you can’t mention it (unless you’re spending major bucks on the marketing). So we work around by using “Stogy”, “Coronas” and taking the spaces out of some words “130cigar brands made in those 3 factories.” That was working, but now they’ve got a problem with us mentioning that RUM is included in the tour. With all these anti-fun rules I’m…See More

Google hates cigars

Things continue to go well. We’re getting calls from a cigar shop or two every day asking how they can sell the tour. Problem is that they can’t, travel is a licensed activity so they can only promote the tour. Hit a wall with Google though. They won’t allow the advertisement of tobacco or tobacco products. That amazes me, you can sell gay sex toys or pot growing systems, but you can’t even mention a cigar. So much for the net being free (at least for those that aren’t involved with the gay sex…See More

The Los Blancos Cigars “Roll’n’Smoke Tour” of Nicaragua and Honduras, a celebration of the good life.

The lifestyle reserved for the elite of the cigar world is now available to everyone! Drink morning coffee fresh from the plantation and world-class rum all night in a tropical climate where cigar smoking is not only allowed, it’s encouraged. October and June Booked Full

Things are getting busier here at Worth Living Tours. We’ve booked our June tour full, and Fumee (http://fumeeworld.com/) out of Texas has fully booked our October tour. With a normal tour, it usually takes about 3 years to reach the point where every trip is booking solid, but this is happening in the first few months after we made our Roll’n’Smoke Tour available to the public! Just as I learned so much about cigars when I went to set-up this tour with David Blanco, I’m learning more about the…See More

Profile Information

About Me:
I’m a newly minted cigar smoker, got into them while I was setting up our Roll’n’Smoke Tour in Nicaragua and Honduras. I never realized the complexity and variety of cigars until I saw the process all the way from field to box. Now that I’m back in the States and enjoying a cigar, they just don’t taste the same for some reason. Even though it’s the same quality cigar I was smoking “down south” something is missing, maybe the pace of life is faster and more stressful up here, maybe the rum isn’t as good, the climate as perfect, or I just miss the prestige of enjoying a cigar right in the middle of the apex of the cigar world. To be sure, I’m heading down with the tour as often as I can.
