What up friends Thanks for stopping by. let me start by saying, I truly enjoy cigars. not just the smoking but the whole culture and mystic of smoking a fine cigar. with that said, here the background of Eddie Oliva:
I tried my first cigar about 3 years ago, a congac dipped heaven maduro. it was pretty good, so every now and then I would try different kinds not really knowing how to enjoy a cigar for all its complexities. not to mention at the time I was a pack a day newport smoker. but all that changed january 08. I decided it was time to hang up the cigarettes for good. so I patched up and sat on my hands for about a month. feeling pretty good about the change I made I wanted to try a cigar again to see if I was really shook that monkey off my back. I met up with my uncle at our favorite cigar bar and he asked me if I wanted to try an oliva o series, a robusto to be exact. after about two slow drags my taste buds exploded! the chocolate and nutty under tones had me thinking; I used to smoke cigarettes? what an a hole lol! now I didnt trade one for the other because i might get a stick in once twice a week or a couple in one sitting if the mood is right. but to think of all the years i wasted, I could have been enjoying a smooth relaxing cigar.
Eddie, I see in your status "all you need is a good Cognac." I would encourage u to try Zaya Gran Reserva 12 year old...neat...with a side of coke...or however u drink your Cognac. I'd be curious to see what you think. This is my fav drink of choice with a fine Cigar. Enjoy
