I would like to know what you think is the best golf course you have ever played and it's location. I collect tee times like other people collect wine. I have played golf in every state that has grass and some that don't, I have played in six countries and counting. If you have any hidden gems, local courses, or travel destinations you can recommend please tell me. I love the game, being on the fairway, tipping that putt, and of course the 19th hole, I even once hit that all elusive hole in one in front of my business partners so I'm still bragging on that. Living in Myrtle Beach and being in the promotions business has allowed me to take advantage of all the great courses in this area, however If truth be told the best courses in this area are in the Brunswick area.
Golf Stories, Equipment Reviews, and Golf Jokes welcome....

I don't know if its the best course but there's Bretton Woods CC in Montgomery County, MD, which has a pro-rated hole and its signature hole is a lengthy par-3 over water. There's also Marlton GC in Upper Marlboro, MD that is a public course...it plays short most of the way but is very hilly and tree lined.

Ok brother Have you played Sharon Woods in Cincinnati OH? It's actually in the greater metropolitan area of Cincy, beautiful course, very hospitable. BTW welcome to movie knights, don't forget to check out Cigar Mafia as well lots of fun and other globe trotters like yourself are members.

I'm not a golfer - unless you count EA Sports Tiger Woods video game "golf". I've been a few times in different parts of the country.

Where I grew up in Oregon - this was not too far away from my house.

I know when the wind starts kickin - like it always seems to do on the Oregon coast - it's really tough to play. From what I've heard anyway.
