"Terri: I had the La Gloria Cubana tonight. Excellent cigar! But it's not what I would have on a regular, daily basis...it was very strong for such a small cigar! It went well after my big steak dinner and a glass of cabernet tonight, however. It's very dense and flavorful. It is well constructed. I will probably want to have a few of these around for "special" nights. Wow!

Terri:
Hope you're having a good week.
I smoked the Romeo Y Julieta Reserva Real last night and enjoyed it. It burned well and evenly, was an easy draw and stayed consistent throughout. I need to give myself more time though. I felt I rushed through it and probably didn't enjoy it as much as I should or could have. In other words, I like it and it's probably even better that I think.
More reviews to come. I'm really leaning towards the smaller cigars. A few weeks ago in Dallas, I had a Rocky Patel "Edge" and really enjoyed that. I'm thinking of trying the La Gloria Glorias next.

Terri:
I started the sampling tonight with the Helix Remix. It was very interesting. I read about the amaretto liquer but I did not expect it to be so prominent. I can still taste the sweetness of the cigar on my lips!
It burned well and it was the right size for a quick and nice after-dinner smoke. The fist half to 2/3 was definitely better than the final 1/3 which went from creamy and sweet to bitter (and sweet!). It was a little challenging in the draw for such a small cigar. Overall, I like the mildness but think it was too sweet for me.
Hopefully my reviews are helpful to you. After I smoke them all, I'll rank them in order of preference and I'll order some of my favorites.
Thanks again for sending these.
