Elephant Ear Tobacco... Does it EXIST?

So, a couple of weeks ago, I was talking to a Peruvian man about... well you guessed it, Cigar tobacco. Supposedly, he grew up in an area of Iquitos, Peru. He claims that deep in the Amazon jungle live native peoples who have cultivated this special tobacco since the early days of Columbus(15th Century). Because of this unique environment, this tobacco has evolved into something that purely amazon amazing. It's dimensions are 5 times that of the size of traditional tobacco and has a flavor that clearly would bring a smile to even an unfortunate soul plagued by Malaria. The local natives call it, "Orejas de Elphante"... this literally translates to "Elephant Ears".

Have any of you heard of this Special line of Tobacco? I would love your feedback on this. And if this stranger that I spoke to, speaks of Truth, then I would like to gather and lead a group some really knowlegeble people on an expedition of the finest find of tobacco. If we discover this, we maybe able to market it later in the states. $$$$
