For those in Columbia, SC area....

I just wanted to give a word of praise to one of my local B & M places. The Tobacco Merchant on Bower Parkway here in Columbia, SC is top-shelf, Great! My wife and I will be moving in a few months from here, and I must say that it will be one of the places that I miss the most. They have pioneered the way for Cigar bars here in Columbia over the past year or so, and have really set a great standard. They have great selections, and are constantly updating their well-stocked humidor. And for those who enjoy a variety of brews as much as you do cigars, they can meet that need too. (personally, I am a Dr. Pepper guy, but to each his own). They have a choice of sitting areas. Either at the very nice Bar, a small sitting area around a Chess board up front in the window, outdoor seating, or in the back room which is fully set-up with big screen and very comfy leather seating in the form of chairs and couches. I travel a lot and go into many cigar bar settings, and I would rank my guys at the Tobacco Merchant up there with the best of them! Way to go Guys!
