When I go out for the eve or I'll be gone for a few days, I take the number of cigars I’ll be traveling with and cut them. Then I take a dry puff to make sure the draw is ok and put them back in the cello. That way I know I won't be disappointed when I fire one up.

Everyone knows monkeys smoke pipes. They would just be insulted by throwing them a cigar with a less than satisfactory predraw.

I have Three 150+ count humidors. One for premo's, one loaded with Flor de Olivas and one for less than perfect, so to speak to be smoked at my discretion.

I don't toss them. I save them for doing the yard or in the workshop. After about an inch or so you'll know what to do with them.

What do you do if the prelight draw is less than satisfactory? Do you toss them? Save them for a time when you don't really care? Throw them to monkeys at the zoo?
