Interview with Eric Newman of JC Newman Cigars

My first foray into the JC Newman world of cigars was with the Cuesta Rey Centenario No 60 Torpedo. This maduro uses a Connecticut broadleaf to impart a ton of creamy, smooth flavor in the Dominican made cigar that's just absolutely
beautiful. At around $6 a stick, it's a value for those looking to try something
different.

Then I moved to California and in 2005 I discovered Cuesta Rey cigars at a cigar tasting in a shop no longer around. The Centro Fino was being pushed to some of the shops and as a result I bought three cigars and was given one free.
I lit up the Centro Fino (which means Fine Center- from which part of the plant
trimmings the leaves come from) and as immersed in a fuller flavored, robust
cigar with spice to pair with the creaminess I'd grown so fond of.

Having the pleasure to interview Eric Newman, president of JC Newman Cigars is definitely an honor right up there with getting to talk to my favorite romance authors. Or Pete Johnson of Tatuaje Cigars. Mr. Newman is IMO a living
legend, full of history both passed down from his father and grandfather and
personally experienced. His interview recalls stories of several times in the
history JC Newman Cigar Company where adversity reared its head and courage,
integrity and creativity prevailed.

For new and old cigar aficionados, JC Newman has something to offer at every price range. From the ever popular value priced Unicos all the way to ultra premium Diamond Crown Maximus line, there is a cigar filled with the rich
history of JC Newman for everyone. We did a review of the Diamond Crown Maximus
for Pure Indulgence that can be found here.

Pure Indulgence on behalf of the White Wolf Indulgence blog is proud to present the interview with Eric Newman, a living legend in cigar making. Core values of this man include honesty, integrity and creativity.

I'd like to mention the Cigar Family charity also. This is a partnership on behalf of JC Newman and the Fuente Family that allows them to give back to the community which they're built upon. Please make sure to stop by their site as
well as Cigar Rights of America to find out how you can support both the
charitable endeavors and individual freedoms all Americans treasure.
