I had the displeasure of having a Kristoff Ligero with a maduro wrapper. The stick was seemingly a very pretty cigar, with the shaggy foot and classic Cuban twisted cap.It had a nice dark moderately oily maduro wrapper, real toothy and a medium amount of veins. What a flavorless shit stick this was. No wait, correction, it had the most bitter flavor I have ever tasted in a cigar. Now I know that Ligero is bitter normally, but really, it was like smoking a pickle. Premium my ass!!! You know what makes me the maddest about this cigar? I paid 12 fucking dollars for that turd with a maduro wrapper on it...

With love,
Krys

Everyone has a different opinion on the way they like their cigars to taste, which I think is the coolest things about cigars; finding out new and interesting flavors that make me want to smoke more, or not ever smoke again. I admire and love everyone's opinion, even when it is told in a crewed manner.

Well, I sympathize with point #1 - NYC is also overpriced for everything... As for aging, well, some things are rushed to the market, and need more time before they're ready to taste their best. Often when something is appealing to me, I'll buy a few, and if the first one has issues like bitterness or burning crookedly or not staying lit, I'll put the others aside for a few months at least.
And point #3, Sweem, I'm afraid I'm on the lady's side on this one. Cursing may not be the most elegant or subtle way of expressing oneself, but sometimes there's nothing like a bit of salt to make the right point.

One, Sween, I live in LA; therefore, everything is overpriced. Secondly, you should not have to leave a "premium" cigar in a box for a year to taste good. Thirdly, freedom of speech my friend..

One, you overpaid for this. Secondly, I find that Kristoffs really get good if you give them a year or so to sit in the humidor.
Thirdly, is the swearing necessary?
