Rocky Patel Double Maduro (Robusto) Review

Today I smoked the first Rocky Patel Double Maduro out of my recently purchased box (that I split with MaduroMan), and let me tell you, I was not let down. Before I took my match to the end, I admired the dark, lush double maduro wrapper, designed by Rocky to be very pleasing to the eye. The cigar seemed to hit its stride right off the bat, and got better and better as it progressed. Rich, peppery (some might say toothy) notes bombarded the palate throughout the entire smoke, and turned into a tasty charcoal-like flavor at about the last inch. Upon completion of the cigar, I raided my travel humidor to see if I brought another one with me, but I did not. Tomorrow is another day, and Rocky Patel's Double Maduro is on the menu!

I have the rubusto size (5.5"x50"), and wouldn't mind the Toro myself

Well, sort of. It was a cigar-bid purchase. I believe they're owned by the same people. I got a great deal on there.

Was that a Cigar International purchase?
