Don Pepin Event @ Cuenca Cigars

On January 23rd, 2010 we had an event with My Father Cigars and El Rey de los Habanos Cigar Companies.

Don Jose Pepin Garcia is probably the most influential and iconic person in the cigar industry right now. Since the age of 11 he rolled his way to fame, from his first blend for Tatuaje in a tiny factory in Miami, he was quickly and highly recognized. Unable to keep up with the demand, they now have state of the art factories in Nicaragua and Miami. As well as having his own brand, he also blends for many other well known companies such as Ashton, Espinosa y Ortega, Nestor Miranda, Padilla, etc. It is said that anything he touches turns to gold.

Don Pepin is committed to producing the best blends to come closest to the tradition of Cuban cigars without using Cuban tobacco. All his cigars are finished with his signature triple cap. He also has 4 cigars on Aficionados Top 25 for 2009!

People came that night for a fun filled event with plenty of food, Cuban style mojitos, wine, spirits, and friendly faces. This made an event you wont soon forget. There was a lot of specials on Don Pepin cigars, and great prizes were give away on this wonderful night. The event started at 7pm and did not end until the next day !!

Our special guess that night was Janny Garcia, Don Pepin Daughter. She was here to meet and mingle.
