In my group The Lady Tobacconist which is me. I suggest always taking an extra cigar not for yourself but because you just never know who you might run into.

Like so.... I have been crushing on this football player since I saw him play in college. Any way a few nights ago I'm out on a patio smoking my cigar and I hear, "Mmmm that smells nice", and this tall man walks by. As he walked by proceeding to get his car from the valet I said "Thank you very much" but to the back of him, he turned to say your welcome and Hello. It's my crush! So he comes back and asks how long I 'd been smoking cigars and I told him a little bit longer than I'VE OWNED MY STORE. And the conversation and friendship begins. Hours later..........

I suggest making it an average smoke, they appeal to a wider group. Make sure you have a good cutter and lighter, and conversation to bring with it. Nothing worse than a boring or pompus cigar smoker. If they end up preferring a stronger stick or another you have a second meeting. This has been successful for me in business on the course, at social engagements. And we all know how cigars have enhanced our personal friendships.
Most importantly be a good ambasador of the cigar. Always be a socially gracious smoker.

HAS YOUR CIGAR AFFORDED YOU THE PLEASURE OF MEETING SOMEONE SPECIAL?

Gotta run,
Hugs,
DeeDee

I want a box for my SUV. I have a carry case that looks like a gun case which is fun but I want a mounted one like you. Do I need to go to pimp my ride?

I love handing out cigars and even approach people when I see them smoking one. Most get told that smells or pinch their nose so when I can support a fellow smoker especially if their a courtious smoker I jump on it.

So what's the best thing that happened to you when you handed out that extra cigar?

I once gave this guy a cigar in a casino in Scottsdale he then gave me a tip on a horse that lead to a real nice purse. Even to this day every time I'm at a sports book I look for a cigar smoker.

Whenever I go out, I ALWAYS take a selection of about 10 differently-sized cigars with me. They range from mild to medium full. Usually, I even slip a flavored or two in with the pack, cuz ya just never know where your own tastes might drift , OR if someone were to join you who doesn't really get into "real" cigars. I love to take long drives in my MINIs, so, even if I don't connect with a friend, I'll always have enough on hand from start to finish.

Perfect, thats the worst isn't it when your craving and you didn't prepare or there isn't a store around. I love driving in my lil car with a cigar ahhhhhh the open roads. I said early the world is a lot safer when I have a cigar..

I also throw a couple senoritas in the box, but seprately don't want to mess up the real cigars. But those are for the girlies that want to try for the first time while out having fun. Keep spreading the luv Arturo.

I can testify... Arturo is a GIVER! When he comes to the Tuesday tastings, the first thing he does once he sits down at the table is hand out cigars to everyone! I'm sitting on a Camacho Habano right now from Arturo.

Gosh I wish some would just stay out of the converstaion. Insults are just not welcome.

Actually, I prefer it spelled "suttle" - the meaning is more "suttle" that way, lol.

I always carry extras just like you say, DeeDee, because you never know. I am always ready to make "conversions" - people who haven't smoked a cigar before are always curious as to what it's like, etc.

Also, I never know what I want to smoke myself until I get to the smoking place. I like options!
