Saturday April 26, First "Social Cigar DC Area Herf"

"I have two General Admission Cigar Fest tickets UP FOR GRABS First Come First Served! I have someone trying to contact a friend of his, but I'll take the first person that gets back to me. If anyone attending the DC SC Herf is interested, let me know and I'll bring the tickets to the Herf. Call me if you're interested by 2:PM Saturday. Cell: 301-318-3844."
If anyone gets into town, or into the area, earlier in the day and want to get together with Dylan and Eric the Amazing please call Eric at 443-996-8409. They will be heading to the Spy Museum around 11:00 and then hitting lunch somewhere after that. If they don't answer, leave a message with your number and they'll call you back. Oh yes, where ever they are, they will be smoking some ceegarrs - fo sho
We will be in the game section of Bailey's, we will have reserved tables and pool tables. We are looking at 40+ people right now, but I am getting room for 50+. If their are more than we have been given permision to spill over and take over the joint. See you all soon
Bailey's Pub and Grille in Arlington, VA will be the spot for the first herf. Eric the Amazing and I would like to invite all to the event. I need all who are interested to reply with "IN" so I can get a rough number of attendees.
The event will kick off around 6 or 7. I should arive around 5:30.

THIS is Bailey's Pub Map.
From exiting Amtrak you will be at Union Station Metro stop. This is the Red Line. Stay on this until you reach the Metro Center Stop - which is the 3rd stop after leaving Union Station. From there, get off that Metro and get onto the Orange line (you don't pay anything extra and the signs are clearly marked on which direction of the Orange Line you need to go - towards Ballston-MU). From there you will go 8 stops to the Ballston stop. After leaving the Metro terminal you will walk down one block to Bailey's.

We are looking to fit into your schedule. Maybe late summer we can do something, I'm looking for an outdoors spot. I would do it at my place, but a townhouse is not the place for a herf.

Has anyone besides me posted photos yet? I know I was there, but the funny thing is I'm never in any of my own photos so I like to look at others to see if I dressed myself right, or left my fly open or something like that. :-b

Thank you for taking the time out of your very busy schedule to put the 1st Annual Herf together!!! It was great to meet you and your wife. Also, my mom says thank you for being so nice to her and thank you for the drink. 8 )
Can't wait for the next event...and yes, I'll take the train this time so I can have a drink or 2.

I wanted to take a minute to thank Derek for planning the Herf on Saturday and thanks to Dylan for providing the awesome smokes. Although I arrived late, I met some really great folks and I look forward to having a smoke with everyone again real soon. I will be hosting a cigar outing on May 6th at J. Gilberts in Mclean and everyone is more than welcome to attend!
