Alright guys, now I'm not talking about the first cigar you ever smoked, what cigar was so good, that it completely flipped your perspective on cigars. What cigar did you smoke that made cigar smoking a passion instead of the occasional stress relief?

Although I work for Camacho, this is still my honest opinion. I was smoking mild to medium cigars for years, never really graduated to full bodied, until I smoked the Camacho Corojo (Diploma Line) Maduro. That was it for me. It quickly became my favorite, and turned me into a full bodied smoker.

The Carlos Toraño Sig Perfecto. I'd only smoked 1 or 2 dollar cigars up until then and I think the Sig was around 6 bucks at the time. I cringed at the thought of spending that on a cigar but it opened my mind and taste buds to what a cigar is supposed to be and to this day it still blows my mind when I smoke one, that you can get that kind of flavor and that much complexity and volume of smoke out of such a small cigar.

I feel it was the CAO Brazilia Lambada... To me, it is one of the finest Maduros ever... Truly a great smoke... The circumstances surrounding this include sitting in Key West with Mrs. K during the World Cup at a Brazilian Coffee Shop, and enjoying the game and having this cigar... One of the finest moments in my life...

I was stationed in Korea and went to the PX. They had some cigars in there, and I didn't know one cigar from another. But my dad use to smoke cigars so I was bored and thought why not try a cigar. I picked a Dunhill and went back and sat on the steps to my place and smoked the Dunhill. I couldn't get over how great that experience was. I totally relax and really enjoy the cigar. I have been hooked every since then and become an avid cigar smoker.

An unbanded 30 year old cigar that was sitting in my uncles humidor a few months before I turned 18. He still has no idea what it was, other then a maduro wrapper.

It was 1988, and I'd been smoking cigars as just a dabbler for a little over a decade. I went into a cigar store and was educated and introduced to an Arturo Fuentes Hemingway. (Back then, there was only the one size of the Hemingway.) I enjoyed it, and then began to explore the rest of the Fuentes line, as well as other Dominican cigars. My tastes have developed since then, with an increasing interest in spicy and full-bodied cigars.

I had always smoked mild cigars. I was afraid to smoke the fuller ones for fear of getting sick,or buying them and end up giving them away cuz I did not like them. Last year at the local shop they held a CAO night. At this event I smoked my first full bodied cigar. The CAO Brazillia Lambada 6 X 60 . Since that time,my eyes and tastes have greatly expanded into the world of cigars .Now,I am willing to smoke any cigar no matter who makes it or what the strength of it is. Now the cigars I keep in the humidor are no longer milds. The majority of them are full bodied, and larger in size than I had smoked for years.

For me after smoking a couple flavoured cigars I went to the local casino. While there went into the gift/souvenirs shop. I seen they had a large humidor. I picked out a Quintero Medias Coronas Selectas. This cigar I enjoyed and that is where I started from

On my 13th birthday my uncle Frankie gave me a Cuesta Rey cigar while fishing in Florida, I've been smoking ever since.

Back in '83, it was the cuban St. Luis Rey Serie A. Living on the border, at the time, they were easy to get and the dollar was strong. Then in the late '80s and early '90s it was the Griffin Prestige and the Avo #3. Currently it is the El Rico Habano Corona Grande.

I had a roomate in College who was dabbling at the time with cigars and wound up smoking a lot of crazy stuff like Backwoods with him. Then he picked up a box of Macanudo Hyde Parks. I remember smoking that and thinking these are great.
