Ghurka Churchill
A beast! Not the Ghurka Beast, but still, a beast nonetheless. I don't think I would regularly buy these bad boys, but a worthwhile smoke on a Saturday night around a firepit. A bit leathery on the nose and not very complex throughout, but a solid smoke with some bourbon.
Sol Cubana Connecticut Robusto
First of the Connecticuts from this month's shipment from cigars.com. I tend to lean towards darker wrappers, but we decided to take an afternoon break with some coffee and wow what a surprise. Very very smooth. Perfect draw, even burn, TONS of great smelling smoke.
G.A.R.
Packed tighter than my prom date and just as bitter at the start, but mellow once we got our groove on. A long smoke, too, which I almost didn't get through because the start was so bitter. The shape is weird, but grew on me. I like box pressed but this is so flat, I thought it would be awkward but it turned out to be an easy mellow cigar with a normal draw and lots of smoke.
