Come on, you gotta go with us.
He about a week ago he was outside and even did a little jump in the air and the next day after he took a dump he kicked his back feet like he always used to do.
However the past three days he has just seemed to get more and more disoriented - walking in circles and tripping over things and generally seeming not with it. But than after a little bit, he perks up and seems alert and responsive to us.
We have a two-story house and climbing the stairs really tires him out and doesn't seem to be good on his heart, so we've been staying on ground floor at night (wreaks havoc with being on the puter) and than I carry this 65 pound dog upstairs and put him in on the bed in the spare bedroom. The wife and I have been taking turns sleeping with him at night.
I'm afraid we can't expect him to be around a whole lot longer, but we want to make him as comfortable as we can while he is still here. If he starts to really be in pain, we will have him put to sleep, but only if he is in bad pain or he can't stand up anymore or something like that.
That's him in his younger days thinking about eating some of my chili in the pix.
Again, thanks for asking and caring my friend.
Larry
